Coffee dates back so far that no one is really sure who actually invented the idea of coffee.

There are many legends about who discovered the great powers of coffee.

They say that it is believed to be dated back to the 15th century on the Ethiopian plateau where there were many coffee forests.

One legend that is told is that a sheep herder discovered coffee when his sheep ate berries from some bushes.

The sheep would become so energetic they wouldn't sleep at night.

He took his findings to the monks and they made a drink with it that had the same affect on people.

The word spread about this energizing drink and it went global.

Coffee has since then been something people drink worldwide.

1.4 billion cups of coffee are poured each day worldwide.

However, drinking to much coffee everyday is a bad thing.

Coffee has caffeine which can keep you awake at night, make you grouchy, and it can give you headaches when you consume too much.

Coffee is best in moderate amounts of about one to two cups a day.

Also while coffee is good for you, the sugar and cream aren't, so make sure you use them in moderation.

Cold brew coffee has become popular among people because it is less bitter then hot coffee.

Some people believe that cold brew coffee is is easier on their stomach.

This is because coffee is an acidic beverage.

This can make it very hard for people with acid reflux and heart burn to enjoy coffee.

When coffee is cold brewed studies have shown that it can be less acidic.

Cold brew and hot brew coffee do contain similar amounts of caffeine.

Reasons To Drink Coffee For Workout Routine

Coffee is well-known for boosting sport performances.

Coffee can increase your strength, energy levels, and power.

It also burns fat and boosts your metabolism.

Coffee can also suppress your appetite making you take in less calories.

This is great if you are like me and forget literally everything.

Caffeine and coffee can even help people who have already developed some form of memory loss.

Coffee is great for your health as discussed before because it is jammed pack with tons of antioxidants.

While we all know cream and sugar are full of calories, there are plenty of great ways to still enjoy coffee with some flavor.

There are many options out there for a low calorie morning coffee, these are just a few.

Use almond milk instead of milk or cream.

However if you have a nut allergy you may want another option.

Add cinnamon to your coffee, which is great for taste but also offers health benefits.

Unsweetened coco or dark chocolate is another low calorie option to add to your cup of coffee.
